My name is Lex George - I am a Florida licensed architect with many
built out projects in the US and Canada.
I have an interest in the Art Deco buildings of South Beach
in Miami. I start with photography of buildings of historical importance
and where necessary do historical research to see details and colors that may be hidden or lost to time. I then build a virtual 3D model of the actual building,
experiment with camera views in the computer and once a view has been selected start working with color and context. I often manage the graphic using a
pastel color palette (made famous by Miami Vice) that can be seen
throughout the South Beach Art Deco district. That legendary palette
was first established by a local artist named Leonard Horowitz in the
1970’s. We all thank him.
I size most of the graphics so they do not need customframing. Should you have an interest in receiving a non-standard size I will do my best to accommodate you.
